Unfortunalty Seja came down with the dreaded RSV. Unfortunately, being so young and little, she needed medical help to start recovering. Unfortunately she had to spend two nights int he hospital. FORTUNATELY we do have heath insurance!!! I took her in for her two month well baby check up on Tuesday. I told the doctor I was a little concerned about some congestion in her sinuses and lungs. the doctor recommended that she be tested for RSV and the results quickly came back positive. the nurse suctioned out her nose and the doctored asked that we come back in the next day (Wednesday) since RSV peeks around days 4 and 5. Cameron came with us to the appointment since it was at 8:00am, before he needed to be to work. Long story short after a breathing treatment Seja fell asleep and her oxygen level dropped to 74. The doctor said that was too low and that Seja needed to be admitted to the hospital for observation. Since she was on oxygen she had to be transported by ambulance. Seja was doing well and so they took her off oxygen but kept her over night. Again over night her levels dropped so she got put back on oxygen. Thursday afternoon they took her off of the oxygen but needed to keep her over night again to be sure that she would be OK in a deep sleep. She did well over night and we were able to come home on Friday.
